The project 'Roof Pavilion', located at the southern end of Ayang Railroad Bridge in Ayang Park on the Daegu Line, was designed by reinterpreting the shape of the old pavilion in a modern way, inspired by the fact that our ancestors enjoyed the atmosphere and formed a community in pavilions by the river.  Citizens are able to enjoy the atmosphere while staying in the space above the pavilion, and an event plaza is formed in the center to host various events in the local community.  Under the pavilion, a shade shelter to avoid sunlight on hot days and a public bicycle and electric scooter station were placed to encourage more citizens to enjoy the Daegu Line's linear park.  Starting with this project, the role of Daegu Seon Park expected to be expanded beyond simply moving along the line to a space where you can stay, not only at Ayang Park but also at Dongchon Park and Banyawol Park, which are part of overall site. Daegu Seon Park as a whole is envisions to be a place to stay that reflects the characteristics of each region. 

대구선 아양공원 아양철교 남단에 위치한 본 공공프로젝트 지붕누각은 옛 조상들이 강변의 누각에서 정취를 누리며 커뮤니티를 형성했던 점에 영감을 받아 옛 누각의 형상을 현대적으로 재해석하여 디자인하였다.  시민들이 누각 위의 공간에 올라가 머무르며 정취를 즐길 수 있도록 하였고, 지역 커뮤니티의 각종 행사를 진행할 수 있도록 중앙에 이벤트 광장을 형성하였다.  누각 아래에는 더운 날 햇빛을 피할 수 있는 그늘쉼터와 공공자전거 및 전동스쿠터 스테이션을 배치하여 더 많은 시민이 대구선의 선형공원을 즐길 수있도록 유도하였다.  본 프로젝트를 시작으로 아양공원뿐만 아니라 공모 대상지인 동촌공원, 반야월공원까지 대구선공원이 단순히 선형을 따라 이동하는 역할을 넘어 머무를 수 있는 공간으로 그 역할이 확장되며, 대구선공원 전체적으로 각 지역 특색이 반영된 머무를 수 있는 공공공간이 확산되기를 기대한다.
