Governments worldwide are increasingly adopting plans to hold massive urban development. These development plans are one of unavoidable projects in urban areas. So far, most of the plans have disregarded the urban context such as regional characteristics. In this research, regional characteristics which can satisfy the urban context are considered. The final result of the research not only shows the regional characteristics, but also promotes a strong relation with the surrounding area. A variety of architectural types are collected as samples from the neighborhood. The samples are adapted as architectural elements when proposing a new way of urban development. The Regional Grammar is to explore and define the relationship between different building types around the site. The project analyzes and reforms the relationship of different building types and merges them into one large space on the site; which consists of cultural, commercial, offices, and retails mixed together.
