The project Cube de Eiffle Pavilion is to create a small landmark in the center of Hongdae Fashion District. Around the fashion district, steel hangers are the most commonly found and used materials to hang clothes up on the street. By using the steel hangers, the pavilion can become a landmark representing fashion industries around the context. At the same time, since the hangers can be easily recycled and reused, it performs well as a temporary building in terms of sustainability. In addition, it is easy to be assembled, disassembled and readily accessible. The Hanger Pavilion played an important role as a landmark for the Hongdae Fashion District and interacted with people passing by in various ways during the installation period.
